Rotara in Claude and ChatGPT
Ask your AI assistant for a padel Americano or round-robin schedule and it uses Rotara's schedule engine – the same one as in the app – instead of writing a rotation by hand. You get the schedule and a fairness receipt.
What the tool does
make_fair_schedule makes a doubles rotation for 4–32 players on 1–2 courts: Americano (a new partner every round for as long as possible) or fixed teams. It returns every round with courts and who rests, and a fairness receipt:
- matches and rests per player – never more than 1 apart
- the longest rest in a row, compared with the shortest possible
- whether anyone repeats a partner (or a team an opponent) before playing with everyone
For 3–8 courts, live scores and standings, Mexicano and changing players mid-evening, it links to the Rotara app.
Add it to Claude
- Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Name:
Rotara. URL:https://masten.app/rotara/mcp - No sign-in is needed. Start a new chat and ask for a schedule.
Add it to ChatGPT
Until Rotara is listed in the ChatGPT app directory: turn on Developer mode under Settings → Apps → Advanced, create an app with the URL https://masten.app/rotara/mcp and no authentication.
Try asking
- “Make an americano schedule for our padel night: Anna, Erik, Maja, Viktor, Lina, Elin, Johan, Oskar, Ali and Sara, 2 courts.”
- “We are 7 players and one court – make a fair rotation.”
- “Fixed teams: 10 players in pairs, one court, 10 rounds.”
Limits
1–2 courts, up to 24 rounds, English or Swedish text. Mexicano needs the results of each round, so it is only in the app.
Privacy
No account and no sign-in. The tool calculates the schedule from what you send and returns it; we do not store or log names or schedules. Cloudflare, our host, processes the request to deliver it. Full policy: Rotara privacy policy.
